Alicia D. Gieck
Biography:
Alicia D. Gieck joined the firm in August 2006. She focuses her practice on criminal defense, family law, personal injury, estate planning and probate, and general civil and business litigation.
In 1996, Ms. Gieck earned her B.A. cum laude and with college honors, in political science and media communications from Drake University. She earned her J.D. in 2000 from the University of Iowa, College of Law.
Ms. Gieck is admitted to practice in Georgia, Illinois and Iowa state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Central District of Illinois and the Northern District of Iowa.
A former adjunct instructor of paralegal studies at Kaplan University, Ms. Gieck is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Iowa Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, Rock Island County Bar Association and Scott County Bar Association.
Her community involvement includes the 7th Judicial Circuit Mock Trial (Middle School Coordinator), Scott County Bar Association Executive Counsel, Habitat for Humanity and First Step Domestic Violence Intervention Program (Coordinator).
